Dry Cabernet Sauvignon Rosé 2009 |
100% pure Cabernet Sauvignon – Rated as a leader in the new wave of Rosé. This wine has a distinctive elegant European light red attractiveness, perfect for romance! It is a bold fruity wine, with hints of quince jelly, melon, citrus and cherry. Light and easy on the palate, with sugar and acidity extremely well balanced.
An excellent choice to accompany so many dishes! We enjoy it with chicken, fish, robust pastas and salads. |

Old Vine Chenin Blanc 2009 |
This wine is handmade from 38 year old vines, one of the oldest blocks of Chenin Blanc in Stellenbosch. The colour is pale translucent with a slight green tint. The nose is fresh and yet complex with a melange of apricot, tropical fruits and a hint of wood, which will continue to entice with age. The complexity of nose follows through on to the palate. The wine is clean and well balanced with a soothing creaminess balancing the enticing acidity.
This delightful wine can be savoured on its own, but will show its true colours (flavours) when enjoyed with good food; especially salads, pastas and fish, and ultimately sushi. |
